Breaking the Cycle: An Epstein Survivor Story

2/28/2022

My name is Kelly Brennan, and I am a 36-year-old wife, sister, daughter, and friend from New York. In 2003, I was introduced to and subsequently sexually assaulted, and then raped and tortured on two separate occasions by Jeffrey Epstein.

For as long as I can remember, I have felt inadequate and like I didn’t belong. For decades, I have unknowingly struggled with PTSD, depression, and anxiety and have typically failed at managing the everyday responsibilities of life. No matter what I did or how hard I tried, I never seemed to escape the recurring cycle of falling behind in one area, then pushing to catch up only to fall behind in another. For decades, I’ve wondered what was wrong with me, why I couldn’t keep up, and why life seemed to be so much easier for other people
